RUDA and Lahore Walled City Authority Meeting on Thematic Cultural Project

Lahore: – To foster cultural preservation and improve infrastructure in Lahore, Mr. Kashif Qureshi Executive Director Commercial & PPP of the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) met with Mr. Kamran Lashari, the Director General of the Walled City Authority. The primary focus of the discussion was a proposed thematic cultural project located near two historical places Jahangir’s Maqbara and Noor Jahan’s Tomb. The project is designed to enhance accessibility to these historical sites by upgrading the surrounding infrastructure, making it easier for visitors to explore and appreciate Lahore’s rich cultural heritage.

As the meeting concluded, Mr. Kamran Lashari expressed a strong interest in formalizing this collaboration by signing a MOU) with RUDA. A follow-up meeting with RUDA’s CEO is also planned to further solidify this agreement and take the project to the next phase.
