RUDA Breaks Ground on Chahar Bagh’s First House Construction

The Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) has achieved a major milestone with the groundbreaking of Chahar Bagh’s first residential building, marking a significant step toward its vision of developing a world-class, sustainable community along the Ravi River.

The ceremony was led by Brig (R) Mansoor Ahmed Janjua, Chief Operating Officer of RUDA, and attended by senior officials, including Mr. Sheharyar Rana, Director Commercial and Customer Services, and Mr. Tehsin Awan, Deputy Director Commercial and Customer Services. A large number of RUDA’s authorized sales partners also participated, appreciating the authority’s continued progress and transparent development practices.

This is the first government-led project to be completed on or ahead of schedule and it shows RUDA’s commitment to timely delivery and high quality standards. The achievement is expected to strengthen buyer confidence and enhance trust in other RUDA projects such as Chahar Bagh Enclave, Dara Chahar Bagh, and Reva.

Chahar Bagh stands out as RUDA’s first fully managed project, with the authority overseeing every stage from design and planning to construction, development, and maintenance. Its transparent operational framework has set a new benchmark for excellence in public sector development.

As RUDA continues to make rapid progress in Zone 1, it is also preparing to launch new projects along the Ravi Expressway, expanding its vision toward a Greater Chahar Bagh Project that will redefine modern urban living in Lahore.
