RUDA Launches Green Plantation Drive in Natt Village

Lahore: In a continued effort to promote eco-friendly development, the Ravi Urban Development Authority- RUDA has successfully carried out a plantation drive in Natt Village, near Chahar Bagh Enclave, a second residential project of RUDA, reinforcing its vision for a greener and sustainable Ravi City of Lahore.

Collaborative Green Initiative for a Better Future

This impactful initiative was executed through a strategic collaboration between RUDA, NESPAK, and FGRF. NESPAK, in coordination with FGRF, ensured the provision of plants, while RUDA’s CSR and Special Initiatives Department supervised the entire activity.

The plantation campaign is part of RUDA’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, aimed at enhancing environmental sustainability within its jurisdiction, particularly in areas being developed under Greater Chahar Bagh project of RUDA.

Community & Student Participation

A key highlight of the drive was the enthusiastic participation of students from nearby schools, who brought energy and awareness to the campaign. RUDA also organised a school visit in Natt Village to further educate young minds about environmental responsibility.

The local community was actively engaged and mobilised to take ownership of the initiative. Residents have been entrusted with the responsibility of watering, caring for, and maintaining the plants to ensure long-term environmental benefits.

This initiative reflects RUDA’s dedication to environmental protection, community engagement, and sustainable urban planning, key pillars of its mission to transform Lahore’s riverfront into a modern, green city.
