The Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) is all set to build Pakistan’s first and largest riverfront urban development city, which will be spread across 46 kilometers. The master plan will be developed on the River Ravi bank, covering 140,000 acres; once completed, it will host about 10 million residents.

RUDA also plans to add more water treatment plants to purify the water for the people of Lahore. Ravi Riverfront Urban Development- RUDA Area:
The Ravi Riverfront urban development project will cover 140,000 acres between the Lahore and Shiekhpura regions. The Ravi City will include the three tehsils from Lahore City, such as Tehsil Shalimar City and Raiwand. On the other hand, it will consist of Tehsil Ferozwala of Shiekhupure district.
