Lahore: The Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) has announced the possession of its flagship project, Chahar Bagh Lahore, well before the completion of its 3-year payment plan. Initially launched in November 2022 on a three-year installment plan, the project is now set to hand over possession by June 2025, an impressive milestone achieved in just 2.5 years.

A Buzz in the Market:

Chahar Bagh Lahore has garnered significant attention due to its high-end amenities and visible progress, including its towering water tanks visible from Ring Road. This early possession has sparked immense interest in RUDA’s subsequent projects, including Chahar Bagh Enclave, which is experiencing strong demand.

Development Charges and Payment Details:

RUDA has clarified the development charges applicable for possession. The charges are Rs. 300,000 per Marla for 10 Marla and 1 Kanal plots. These charges are to be paid in two installments:

  • 50% due by January 30, 2025
  • 50% due by May 31, 2025

For those who have bought plots recently or short of installments, but wish to take possession, all outstanding dues must be cleared.

Submission of Building Plans:

Once the payment plan is completed, plot owners can submit their building plans and drawings of their dream homes for approval to the One Window Operations at RUDA’s office located at 152-Ali Block, Garden Town, Lahore.

Payment Methods:

To ensure transparency and security, RUDA has already introduced a streamlined payment process. Each plot is assigned a unique IBAN, allowing owners to make payments through IBFT, SWIFT, or IFT transfers. Pay Orders are also accepted but must include the plot owner’s name, CNIC, and plot number written on the back. Cash payments are not accepted.
