Punjab CM visits RUDA Sapphire Bay Project
Sep 09, 2024- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and PML-N President Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif expressed their continued support to Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) for the Ravi City project during a recent visit to Sapphire Bay. They emphasized the importance of adhering to strict standards for developing the riverfront and promoting environmental sustainability simultaneously. They reinforced the project’s commitment to sustainable practices, aiming to mitigate Lahore’s ongoing smog challenges.
Following the visit, the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA)’s senior leadership, including CEO Imran Amin and COO Mansoor Janjua, discussed the plans for Ravi City. The presentation emphasized the solutions of environmental challenges, as well as the development of a robust Ravi City road system that will provide easy access and integration with Lahore’s current infrastructure.
The visit highlighted the Punjab Government’s vision of developing a greener, more sustainable Lahore through innovative urban planning.
