RUDA Invites Bids for River Training Works on Ravi River

Lahore – The Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA), an urban development authority of Punjab Government, is at the forefront of developing a sustainable and eco-friendly cit along with the Ravi River of Lahore. In line with their mission to enhance flood control measures and construct a resilient riverfront, RUDA is taking a significant step forward by inviting bids for River Training Works (RTW) and Barrages in two key contract packages.

River Training Works (RTW) & Barrages Package-1A: This package covers the development of the R/s Embankment Upper Promenade from RD 0+000 to 10+500 R/S.

River Training Works (RTW) & Barrages Package -02: This phase focuses on the 0 to 3 KM left embankment, Phase 01.

Bidding is open to all eligible contractors and may be submitted individually or as part of a joint venture. Interested bidders can obtain comprehensive bidding documents from the Office of the Executive Director of the Engineering Department, located at RUDA Sub Office in Hockey Stadium, Gate #14, Lahore.

RUDA has set the bid security amount at Rs. 300,00,000 for the 1st project and Rs. 75,000,000 for the 2nd project. The bid security can be in the form of a Deposit at Call, a Bank Guarantee issued by a Scheduled Bank in Pakistan, a foreign Bank duly counter-guaranteed by a Scheduled Bank in Pakistan, or an insurance company with at least an AA rating from PACRA/JCR, valid for 28 days beyond the Bid Validity date.

The bid submission dates for the first and second projects are December 16, 2023 and December 21, 2023, respectively.
