RUDA and CBD Climate Campaign at COP28 Dubai
Dubai, UAE – A prominent Pakistani team led by Punjab’s Caretaker Chief Minister, Mr. Mohsin Raza Naqvi, had a tremendous impression on the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai. The delegation from RUDA (Ravi Urban Development Authority) and CBD Punjab (Central Business District Punjab), played a pivotal role in advocating Pakistan’s commitment to address climate challenges of our region.
During his address, Mr. Naqvi emphasized the urgent need of collaborative initiatives to address Pakistan’s unique climate challenges, stressing the impact of neighboring countries. His call for international collaboration echoed throughout the conference, emphasizing the importance of collective effective solutions for building a resilient and sustainable future.
Highlighting their dedication to climate-smart infrastructure and sustainable development, Mr. Imran Amin, CEO of RUDA & CBD Punjab, and Brigadier (R) Mansoor Janjua, COO of RUDA and CBD Punjab, showcased their organizations as exemplars for urban development authorities. Their presentations at COP28 positioned RUDA and CBD Punjab as pioneers, setting standards for environmental sustainability.
