RUDA and PCJCCI Explore Collaborative Opportunities
In a key step toward enhancing collaboration and investment in the future Ravi City of Lahore, the team of Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) met with the Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) delegation at RUDA Head Office Garden Town, Lahore.
Mr. Kashif Qureshi, RUDA’s Executive Director of Commercial and PPP, provided an overview of the organization’s projects and present progress to Mr. Wang Zihai, Director of China-Pakistan International Cooperation (Qingdao) and President of PCJCCI. The meeting was largely intended to promote Chinese investments and joint ventures in RUDA projects.
The Ravi City project, led by RUDA, aims to produce a planned, sustainable, and eco-friendly urban development in Lahore. It offers a futuristic metropolis that would meet the expanding demands of the Lahore metropolitan area.
Speaking on the partnership, Mr. Wang Zihai stated his desire to collaborate with RUDA and praised the authority’s commitment of establishing an environment friendly area of Lahore. He stated that the fundamental goals of the PCJCCI are to promote trade, investment, and mutually beneficial commercial enterprises between China and Pakistan.
RUDA and PCJCCI hope that this partnership would increase Chinese investment in Pakistan, open up new prospects for Chinese enterprises, and most importantly defend the interests of both nations’ business communities.
